Gangfeng Ouyang is a Professor at the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Sun Yat-sen University, P.R. China. He is the winner of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholar,  Fellow of Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC), the Youth Leading Talent in Technological Innovation of the Ministry of Science and Technology and Distinguished professor of “Zhujiang Scholar”. He also is the director of the Department of Chemistry and the Institute of Environmental Chemistry and the director of the Research Center for Microextraction and Separation Technology. His research is mainly focusing on Environmental Analytical Chemistry, the fundamental study and the applications of microextraction technology. He published more than 120 papers in different refereed journals, including Chem. Rev., Nat. Commun., ACS Nano, Chem. Sci., Anal. Chem., Environ. Sci. Technol. and etc., and obtained more than 2000 citations. Currently, he is the contributing editor of Trends Anal. Chem., editorial board member of Anal. Chim. Acta, Microchem. J., Environ. Chemistry and Chinese J. Anal. Chim.
