The EuChemS-DAC Sample Preparation Study Group and Network supports the 51st International Symposium on High Performance Liquid Phase Separations and Related Techniques (HPLC2023) to be held Duesseldorf, Germany from 18-22 June 2023 (https://www.hplc2023-duesseldorf.com/). 

Our network will support the participation of one (1) European PhD student actively engaged in sample preparation research by covering their early registration fees. Applicants must not have received another grant frοm EuChemS-DAC Sample Preparation Study Group and Network during 2022 nor applied for another 2023 PhD grant to our Network.

We will support the participation of seven (7) European PhD students actively engaged in sample preparation research by covering their early registration fees. Euroanalysis XXI, 27-31 August, 2023, Geneva, Switzerland

The Euroanalysis XXI will take place in Geneva, Switzerland from 27-31 August, 2023(https://www.euroanalysis2023.ch). Euroanalysis is a biannual international conference of the Division of Analytical Chemistry and this 21st edition is locally organized by the Divison of Analytical Sciences of the Swiss Chemical Society (DAS).

The EuChemS-DAC Sample Preparation Study Group and Network will organize a scientific session dedicated to sample preparation during the event. All interested members may express their intention to participate in our session by sending an email to sampleprep<at>tuc.gr

In addition, we will support the participation of eight (8) European PhD students actively engaged in sample preparation research by covering their registration fees. Applicants must not have received another grant frοm EuChemS-DAC Sample Preparation Study Group and Network during 2022.

HPLC2022 (18-23 June, 2022; San Diego, CA, USA)

The EuChemS-DAC Sample Preparation Study Group and Network supports the 50th International Symposium on High Performance Liquid Phase Separations and Related techniques (HPLC2022) to be held in San Diego, California, USA from 18-23 June, 2022 (https://hplc2022.org/).

Our Study Group and Network is dedicated to helping young scholars achieve their research and academic goals. We will support the participation of two European young scientists actively engaged in sample preparation research by providing two travel grants500 Euro each.

Applicants must be (i) members of the EuChemS-DAC Sample Preparation Study Group and Network, (ii)of European nationality, and (iii) PhD candidates with more than two years of experience or post-doctoral fellows who received their PhD within the past two years.

To apply for these grants, applicants must:

(i) send a copy of their submitted abstract

(ii) send the return receipt from HPLC2022 stating acceptance of their abstract and type of presentation

(iii) send their detailed biographical resume

(iv) include a recommendation letter from their supervisor

(v) include an official letter (e.g., issued from the secretariat of the University Department or School) stating the status of the applicant, number of years under this status and their nationality.

The EuChemS-DAC Sample Preparation Study Group and Network will award these grants to eligible applicants who have submitted exceptional abstracts that have been accepted for presentation at the conference.

6th Green & Sustainable Chemistry Conference (Online event, 16-18 November 2021)

The EuChemS-DAC Sample Preparation Study Group and Network will support the participation of 5 PhD students in the 6th Green & Sustainable Chemistry Conference (GSCC) to be held from 16-18 November 2021. The five grants will cover registration fees to this online event (each 118€).

The 6th GSCC aims to bring together not only international researchers from academia, but also from industry together with experts from authorities and other institutions from all parts of the world to foster this inter- and transdisciplinary discourse including chemistry as a science too. The event will be a great opportunity to discuss the key characteristics of sustainable chemistry and to conduct fruitful interdisciplinary exchange on the latest developments and insights in the field of green and sustainable chemistry. This conference is organised by Elsevier in association with Leuphana University of Luneberg and ISC3.

The EuChemS-DAC Sample Preparation Study Group and Network will organize special sessions in the XXIII International Symposium on Advances in Extraction Technologies (ExTech 2021) and online event run between the 29 June – 2 July 2021.

Members of the Study Group and Network that wish to be part of our sessions should proceed with abstract submission at https://extech2021.com/call-abstracts/ and registration at https://extech2021.com/registration-accomodation/

After abstract submission they should send by email at sampleprep<at>enveng.tuc.gr (Dr. Fran J. Pena) the following information: Name of Presenting author, Title of presentation and Type of presentation (Oral/Poster).
