New postdoctoral position

Postdoctoral researcher in analytical and green chemistry

Green analytical chemistry group lead by Marek Tobiszewski is searching for postdoctoral candidate to join. The group is working on the application of novel solvents in microextraction techniques, incorporation of green chemistry metrics into procedure optimization and development, as well as greenness assessments of procedures and reagents. The research tasks will include working on liquid extraction techniques applying novel organic solvents and deep eutectic solvents with gas chromatographic, liquid chromatographic and spectroscopic final determination. Method development with DoE, method validation and combination with greenness assessment tools will be novel tasks.


The position is available for researchers currently working outside of Poland. PhD degree is required and good scientific record. Ideally, the candidate should be an expert is one or more of the fields: sample preparation, gas chromatography, liquid chromatography, chemometrics and experimental design. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, curiosity and self-motivation are crucial, as well as excellent written and oral communication skills in English are essential.
